The annual Best of Wine Tourism competition, which honours wine estates in every town and city of the Great Wine Capitals* network, promotes the most outstanding and innovative wine tourism “Vignobles et Découvertes” labelled sites every year.
The Great Wine Capitals network was founded in Bordeaux in 1999 through a desire to bring together outstanding wine regions around economic, educational and touristic interaction. The Bordeaux Gironde CCI ensures the overall running of the network. The members created Best of Wine Tourism, an international competition that honours and labels wine estates and service providers for the quality of their proposals and innovations in the wine tourism sector. Therefore, it is time to try award winning wines in Nouvelle-Aquitaine.
