If you are a student who is studying abroad and looking to plan a quick weekend getaway in Malta but is still hoping to see it all; you have fund the right place. This is 3-day Malta itinerary will ensure you see all the best spots and experience all the best excursions in 72 hours!

DAY 1

Historical Buildings in Malta

After you arrive in Malta, catch the bus that takes you straight from the airport to your hotel. Sliema is a great place to stay and is filled with many other young people and things to do.

Spend the morning shopping around Sliema and checking out the Tinge Pointe Mall.

After the long morning of shopping, grab lunch at a local restaurant serving Malta’s iconic Mediterranean and Maltese cuisine. I recommend, Charles Grech Bistro

After lunch you can cool off in the Roman baths of Malta before catching a bus from Sliema to Golden Bay

In Golden Bay you can horseback ride along the coast during sunset!

Catch the bus back after horseback riding and have dinner near your hotel in Sliema!

DAY 2

Blue Lagoon in Malta

The next day, wake up and start your morning with breakfast at the hotel.

A bus will depart from St. Paul’s Bay to take you to a dock for an all-day boat excursion.

This boat will take you to the blue lagoon and Crystal lagoon and stop for a swim in Malta’s clearest waters. The boat also provides snorkeling gear, lunch, and drinks.

After swimming and snorkeling you will have a chance to dock near Popeye’s village and see the in-tact movie amusement park from the boat.

When the boat returns around 4 P.M. a bus will take you back to the hotel and you can stroll along the marina in Sliema before catching a dinner along the water.

DAY 3

Buildings in Malta

On the last day, have breakfast again at the hotel.

After breakfast you can catch a ferry that will take you to Malta’s historic town of Valetta.

Here you can see historic fortresses, incredible architecture, go shopping, see cafes and beautiful gardens spread throughout the town.

Grab a nice lunch in the town at one of the cafés and then take a boat tat leaves from the area to Gozo Island.

Sign up for a fun Jeep tour that takes you through the island!

After the tour head back to Sliema and a bus can take you back to the airport for your flight home!
